I have to weigh Borla against JIC right now. What do you think?

 

Looks like you got a good deal in the making subject to negotiation..

1 week for use of your Z.. for Borla to measure and size up a new muffler...

1/ lease money plus....

2/ Hmmmm.... I say yes... subject to -- I want all upgraded mufflers and/or exhaust systems for my Z for as long as I own it --- and this will apply for any and all future upgrades you may make...


Fallback position... 2/ above...

This is a completely cooky statement, but I think nissan tweaked the crap out of the exhaust so much, that a borla would only do nothin, gain maybe 3hp or even hurt hp.

 

WHO CARES!!!! So what if they only get 3 hp. Have you ever heard a Borla exhaust on a Z32? It sounds marvelous. The best sounding exhaust combo I have ever heard. Please keep us informed as to the progress you makew with them. While it may be premature, tell them you want a good group buy for your buddies here at the best Z site!

I'll keep you posted. I want a bit nicer sound, but ultimately it must have more HP. I think that ditching that resonator box under the car has got to help. We shall see.

 

well smoothing out that "Y" pipe a bit has gotta help, and straight throughs always flow better than multi-chambers.
