Default Motordyne Shockwave Dual Ti + Introduction

Hi all,

My name is Steve, based in Sunny Coventry/Uk, i currently race a 2006 350z revup in the nippon challenge and have owned it for a few years now, turned it from a standard GT Z (unsure why i didnt buy the non gt) into this race car, im a computer geek as a job and have, from taking this thing to bits managed to learn quite a bit from this too.

Nippon Challenge is a UK based race series for Japanese and Asian marques, the class im in has an upper limit of 300bhp so I have to keep the engine NA and need as much torq as possible.

www.teamlizardracing.com is the website,
www.facebook.com/tlmotorsport , be great if you want to become a fan.

I must confess this website has helped me loads as a lurker.

Another load of thanks needs to be directed to Abbey Motorsport, with Motordyne on board as a sponsor for 2010 the TLM 350z was treated to a nice new exhaust configuration.

The old scorpion was swapped for a Shockware Dual Ti with an XYZ - Y pipe and the new resonated Decats,

The idea of spending some money on this was to get some of the gains that Motordyne have been talking about on the USA site, as Abbey are approved traders here in the UK coupled with their tuning knowledge, Mark was indeed capable of extracting some very nice gains.

I wont post the graphs yet as i know Abbey are hard at work comparing different parts on more than one zed and combination of engines/bits to give people the best advice on what mods work etc so I will let Mark post when he is ready, suffice to say my face is

The exhaust sounds awesome although my skills at recording it are obviously not so awesome, sorry.

Thanks to the sponsors:

Abbey Motorsport
Zenzero Solutions
UpRev
Motordyne
Nissan Sportz
Total Nissan Magazine
Envy Performance

Since last year the car has been treated to some CF doors/new 4.08 final drive (thanks adam/z1 auto) and a rear spoiler, car before CF doors were added weighed 1370ish kg wet, without me in it.

Feel free to look round the rest of the photobucket account guys.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing - I wonder if the Nippon is taped/televised here in the US at all? Good luck!

No issues with the Tip but there is a slight issue with it rattling slightly further back, i think where the mid section connects to the Y pipe, guys at Abbey are looking at how to solve that, so loud in the cabin anyway that i wouldnt notice
