Default Cermaic coating headers/tp's

Ok, done some research, just want more opinions. I am not concerned with the cost of coating, unless the end effect is no heat reduction under hood or for motor.
I want to order Tomei Expreme v2 headers and the ART pipes. have them both coated for thermal insulation, no other reason.
Headers yes, but the pipes??? I know it wont be super beneficial on the ART pipes but im still thinking it might help keep temps around motor down. Should i worry about extremely high temps int he exhaust then? any one do a coating on their headers? Do you like it? Does it really help with heat? thats the only reason i want to do such. I would do wrap and silicone however I read that it causes hot spots because more or less wrap (uneven wrap) is on the headers so causes uneven heating/cooling, expansion/contraction of the metal causing greater fatigue and lower life, so i figured coat them instead of wrap them.
As usual and and all information will be appreciated.

Coating the ART Pipes would be a bad idea; it really won't help keep engine bay temps down at all.

As for the headers, unless you track the car, you really don't need to bother with coating them.

LOL yeah, so I ended up purchasing some OBX long tubes i think. Cant remember the brand. and did not want to pay the shop to not install it because it would not bolt up so i ended up selling them to someone and just did the exhaust. however with 3 years of research the final conclusion is that DE / HR headers are interchangable with the swaping around of only two bolts per side.

test pipes don't sit near the engine, so it's not going to keep engine temps down

coating the headers is an excellent idea for street or race - there is a ton of heat they emit. While stainless does expel it quickly, on a Z, there is no where for it to go but in the engine bay, where it will simply cook your intake temps
