Default Stock Nismo VS Aftermarket Nismo

Hey what's up guys. I drive an 06 g coupe and recetly bought the X02 exhaust. It doesn't really sound good in the cabin. I'm looking to amplify the stock tone (In the market for HFC).

Anyways does anyone know if there's a diff between the nismo stock n aftermarket. And how if compares to stock?? Thanks in advance

Lol my bad guys. I was typing on my iPhone and was trying to make my post short, but guess it turned out confusing.

I'm looking to amplify the stock tone, which is why I mentioned I'm also looking for HFCs.

However the question I'm trying to ask in this thread is... Is there a difference between the exhaust that comes on a Nismo 350z and the aftermarket nismo exhaust?

Also how does this compare to the stock Z tone/volume? Is it a big difference or no? Lol sorry once again for not making sense the first time. I'd post this on drive, but it seems like most of those guys are only interested in wheel fitment.

The two exhausts are different. Don't try to put a Nismo 350Z exhaust on a 350Z.

The aftermarket Nismo exhaust stays the closest to the factory VQ tone you are used to hearing. Other exhausts use different piping / canisters / layout, etc which changes the tone. HFC on your POS...I mean X02 exhaust aren't going to change the sound tone much, and definitely not towards the stock sound.

Hope that helps.

the aftermarket nismo is great.. you wont regret it. amplifies you're stock exhaust tone.. but isnt loud at idle. prolly my fav exhaust for the Z for daily driving.

Same exhaust. Believe the aftermarket nismo is a bit better looking but they both will fit just fine. It's a hair away from stock sound but you can expect it to get progressivly louder with hfc's and pretty loud and droney with tps. And yes x02 was a bad choice but you live and learn. Good luck

It looks weird thats why. The tips are angled off the muffler to drop below the Nismo Z's rear.

Dont give advice if you dont know wtf your talking about.

Stock nismo exhaust is the same stock ehaust as every other Z with a pretty polished muffler(Made by HKS) with giant 5 inch tips but no power gain.

Nismo S-tune exhaust is a 2.5-3 inch y pipe to a 3 inch single catback to the muffler and 2 big tips on a muffler similair to the stock exhaust but prettier and better flowing.

Get the 2nd one.

Extra welding, thats what is done on the Nismo to stiffen the chassis.

Ok, I was trying to point out the irony in the 2nd poster "hating on" the OP for bad grammer by stating "The nismo has more stiffer and an exhaust." Stiffer is not a noun, you cannot have more stiffer.
