Well, this could be dangerous because there was an angled tip Injen SES and now there is a newer version Straight tip Injen SES. They look a little different, sound a little different, and have a little difference in performance. I have the angled tips and absolutely love them. The craftsmanship is excellent and truly the only issue I have is that they are somewhat quiet. I know I know, some think this thing is loud as hell, but to me it is nothing. My wife even thinks the stock exhaust was louder because it has a higher pitch to it. The Injen is a deep sound. I can't wait for some headers and HF cats to really make this thing sing. I have had a lot of great compliments on the sound of the exhaust from fellow car enthusiasts.

Sweet ride and thanks for the reply.
I like the way the angle tips look as compared to the straight tips.
What brand/model tires are you running on your Z?

Unless he deliberately put them in, he's not running the res. Stock comes with one res and this is a true dual. He'd have to buy another one.... which would be nUtZ IMHO

I just put mine in this weekend on Saturday. I gotta say I LOVE THEM! my car just seems to growl now. I think it's plenty loud and I decided to not put in the silencers. Maybe after a couple months if I get tired of it, I'll put the silencers in. Just my 2c.

BTW I bought mine from Bankperformance, cost me $720 shipped! only took 2 days too i was amazed. I asked around the forums, but nobody responded on the socal part.

I wouldn't install the silencers. They have a reputation of getting "stuck" and are an extreme PITA to remove. There a few threads if you want to search.

We are runing the Injen SES system on our Z in Grand Am Cup.
We have removed the middle resonators. We are also running the XERD headers.

does anybody with the ses have any problems with water getting in the cannister, since they look like water could easily get in there when washing the car or whatever, does that cause damage? I am about to get this for my G, the angled version and want to know before hand. thanks.

I'll be the first to tell you about my experience w/ the silencers. I couldn't remove them no matter how I tried. Injen just sent a new set and sent back the rear sections that had the silencers stuck in them.

Failsafe-I'm stopping by StrictlyZ on Friday to have Yuichi help me do the Idle Air Volume Learning thing. I'll bring my digicam to record some clips and possibly drive-bys w/ your newly added mod.

I won't be back from SEMA until late on Friday. We can do it today or Monday. Wait until you hear it
