Default Burnt titanium tips??

hey guys,

I was wondering if you could polish, or strip the burnt titanium on exhaust tips. Not the tradition burnt ti tips from an hks hi power exhaust or agency power single, or hks custom single. But lets say for example, there were flames coming out from the exhaust, and the flames discolored the tips all blue/orange/yellow. Could you polish that out to make it all shiny and clear? Or is it impossible? Please let me know, thanks.

Sure. With a little elbow grease you can remove the finish from any metal.

Not the finish from the factory like the burnt tips from hks or whatever. I mean, for example, if the flames from your car discolored your canister/tips blue, could you remove THAT? I asked my mechanic/exhaust guy, and he didn't know.

I'm probably going towards no... maybe possible. But it'll probably be hard.

The same thing happened to my old exhaust, the Injen SES titanium tipped one. I never decided to fix it so I switched to the Greddy Dual TIC. However, it may be possible but i don't think so if the damage is too deep into the metal
