I'm really surprised that the air box was not made out of some type of plastic. They should change it....

Just found this write up, nice stuff Jason.

Mine's going in tomorrow!

I have an infra-red temp gun; I'll temp various parts of it after my commute to work (35 mi; lots of it 70+) and see how hot it really is.

Not that it will be an indicator of any sort, just to satisfy some of my curiosity.

Jason- a couple more questions? How difficult is it to run the piping leading from the air scoop to air box? Can you do it in a couple of minutes (w/o removing the bumper)? Do you still have some in stock?

Yes we have these in stock. K&N Typhoon $265

That tube is not hard to run at all. The anoying part is pulling out the stock little ram tubing, and putting in the scoop. you have to go in from the bottom. Need to jack up the whole front end to get there comfortably.

let me know if you have any other questions.

Please do [dyno] Jas, the $265 sounds like a great deal, but I want to make sure that gains are had before money is invested. Thanks.

I saw Jason's Typhoon set up in person when I was at Performance Nissan last week. It looks like a great setup.

I also saw the new "artwork" on Jason's car. Jason, you should put a pic of your car in your avatar.

WOW......the wheels look great Jason.......how did the car show go? The neat thing about those wheels is they hide the brake dust.

thanks!

car show was ehhhhhhhh.. slow??? 25 bux to get in!! wack!

so it was mostly people who were showing their cars...

I guess they hide brake dust, they look a weird tint of brown when they have brake dust on them.

But, I love them!!

LOL...

Well, if we break down the term "Car Show", I think it makes sense that is was "mostly people showing their cars"

Anyhow, the wheels are great.....what's next?
