Default Motordyne 5/16 Spacer Vs. Kinetix V+ Plenum

Hey Guys,

I am just wondering your opinions on these 2 items....I'm curious as to why a spacer would be nearly the same price a an entire upper plenum. I know a lot of people choose the spacer. But is there really a big difference?

I'm looking to get the NON ISO Thermal 5/16 Spacer or the Kinetix V+ just have not decided yet. Wondering what your guys thoughts are on these 2.

Thanks
-Matthew

Beginning to get a little dizzy. Feels like someone sent me back to 2004.

before davidv posts a picture of his search results...

Kinetix doesn't gain you much, if anything.

Spacer has proven results, ISO-thermal or not for the DE.

Have a rev-up? Get a spacer and MREV2.

Boosted and lots of money? Buy a Cosworth.

I'm pretty sure that should /thread.

I have the v+ and my friend got the 5/16 and i cant beat him by about the same ammount that i was before either was us upgraded to the bigger spacer/intake. so either we gained the same or they didnt do much for neither one of us. If i could chose again i would get the plenum cause it runs cooler and it makes the engine look more modded then the spacer does. i may buy a spacer our of the classified section one day and see what it does to my car....

Yeah sorry guys I ended up finding some posts.

even with Davidv in them.

Now just a question....I know it might sound stupid, but where I live it does snow....if fact it is snowing right now.

If I just buy the basic Plenum spacer would that ever cause any issues? I mean in reality will my throttle body freeze??
