Default exhaust help

I have been searching and searching on this fourm and read everything posted about rattle, i have also done everything people have said to do to elemate rattle...but i still have rattle.

I removed the heat sheilds, checked all the bolts time after time to make sure there tight, nothing is rubbing or hitting anything, everything is lined up correctly, and everything is like it suppose it be.

The exhaust is true duel ark grip, motordyne test pipes. 07 HR

The rattle is coming from the front of the car, ( y pipe and test pipe )
when the revs come down between 3000 to 2000 the rattle starts and stops at 2000 and below and also at wot.

I have no idea what to do at this point. any ideas on what it is or anything that will help thanks.

had a similiar problem with my aam and injen exhaust , the problem was that the right side y pipe was hitting the m brace. The test pipes were not long enough to clear it. You will need to put the car in a lift and go underneath it to see where its hitting. I ended up taking it to the shop and the guy gave me two options. Either weld two , 3 inch pipes to make it longer or hammer the y pipe with a hammer. I ended up doing the hammer cause it was cheaper and I wanted to get it over with. Of course my y pipe is now dent but no more rattle , It did not change the sound of the exhaust at all. Hope this helps

I'm not trying to say anything bad about it don't get me wrong, but the exhaust that you bought is a replica of an HKS exhaust. It might not even be causing the rattle or anything. The only thing is that you can buy basically the same replica exhaust for around $300 shipped on ebay and if I'm not wrong, the Ark one is almost double that

I found the problem. the rattle is coming form the xpipe.
I also talked to the ark rep and i sent him a video clip of what was going on and he explained that if your not running stock cats you will have a rattle. so basically if you plan on going with hfc or test pipes you will be getting a rattle, and ill be the first to say the rattle is unbearable to listen to.

i had the same problem. put the car on the lift. sounded like the rattle came from the test pipes/y pipe. found out it was a crack in the test pipe.
