Default 350z HR Y pipe

Hey guys anyone could advise on the following?

1) if i change to after market Y pipe any difference in performance?

2) I mean is the diameter size for after market larger than stock Y pipe?

3) Current set up on 350z HR - AT
- kakimoto Dual exhaust
- MINES straight through test pipes
- Drop in K&N filters
I experience raspy sound after my test pipes installation will after market Y pipe solve the issue?

Thanks.

if you have a dual exhaust, how can you utilize a y pipe? You can't unless its not a true dual. Does it have a h or x pipe?
