Default correct placement for 02 wideband sensor?

why would the wideband sensor be in front of the catalytic converter as in this picture?

all of the other aftermarket cats that i have seen the wideband sensor is located after the cat. in this case, the sensor is located right next to the 02 sensor.

behind the cat would not give you a proper reading for a wideband. Behind the cat is ok for a narrowband
