I was looking at the "MULE" video about your turbo kit. But with this car I wanna keep street. I have a 525whp 240sx track car and another 320whp s14. so this Z is a summer car. although................It needs more power. just not really liking the huge fart car exhaust.

If the tips are really titanium its definitely not going to weld to the SS piping. Would be cheaper to just go on Mcmaster Carr and get some really goofy security headed screws.

+1, but i did it all over, I went from Tanabe to Motordyne. Motordyne exhaust has been out for 2 years now, i wonder why others even make exhaust systems for the Z.

It does look like two coffee cans on the backside of your car. And yes it is cheap but money isn't what I was trying to spend or save. I honestly can't get enough of the way it sounds, and everyone that's heard me drive around can agree. I didnt have any problems with fitment either. Thanks for your opinion, but to each his own.

I apologize for sounding so opinionated, you are correct to each his own.

For $150 exhaust its really not a horrible setup. Don't skimpy on a Y pipe either b/c I grabbed a $60 Y pipe on ebay and ended up 1.5" short between flanges. Not a problem for me but I wasnt expecting to spend time fabricating and welding an extension.

With aftermarket parts, you get what you pay for

How much are you looking to spend? Would you rather have single exit or dual exit, or true dual?

around $1500. I wanted true/dual exhaust because not having it will annoy me. that empty bumper hole would always rub me the wrong way. and a huge can exhaust is fine for my s14 (x2) but this Z is more classy then the 240's. I like the titanium tips, But the exhaust doesnt have to have them. Looking at getting the SG motorsports long tube headers, so the exhaust would have to be a free floating. Been thinking about just making one, or getting that motordyne exhaust.

If you're looking at 1500, most true duals are only around 1200-1300...have you looked into the Borla, Magnaflow, or Stillen?

I think the Motordyne sounds wayyyyyyyyy better then the HKS... The HKS makes the Z sound a like some old 90's v6 Camaro. The Motordyne make the Z sound tough and mean.

bassani is really tame and classy. I loved mine when i had my Z. sounds really great, no rasp/drone, just a nice smooth vq note that is louder then stock but still quiet when you want it to be.
