Both exhausts bolt up to the down pipes. As to which one would be best for you... it depends on your noise tolerance/preference and power goals. If you are going to be running on a stock motor or sub 500whp (or want a more quiet exhaust), the 2.5" exhaust will be fine. If you do a built motor setup and intend to go for high horsepower numbers, get the 3" exhaust.
i know that but i thought that the 70 mm exhaust sound is better than the 3" i only want my car to sound like the 350z in tokyo drift :P lol ! i know that this is dumb but i love the sound of the Z in tokyo drift ! when i choose what turbo back exhaust i want ill get some magnaflow mufflers ! maybe i could get 450 BHP at the rear wheels !

The 3" attaches to the down pipes from the turbo system and I think the cat back system will do the same. APS have ceased production on both products though I believe, so you may have to find one used if you want it.
mmm thanks for telling me !! if i get the motordyne 3" exhaust system it is good ?!! it is the TDX v1 and i could contact the motordyne crew for the 3" exhaust !! sry for being a pain in the a$$ !! :\

I'm not quite sure you fully grasp the magnitude of what you're getting into. Performance cars are complex machines, and the road to modifying said complex machines past their standard configurations isn't as easy as Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport make it out to be. It isn't all black and white, and there is far more gray area than any one thread asking advice could ever clear up for you.
