Both exhausts bolt up to the down pipes. As to which one would be best for you... it depends on your noise tolerance/preference and power goals. If you are going to be running on a stock motor or sub 500whp (or want a more quiet exhaust), the 2.5" exhaust will be fine. If you do a built motor setup and intend to go for high horsepower numbers, get the 3" exhaust.

The one with the G35 is the turbo version, the less restriction you have with turbo's the better. I'd get the Motordyne though

What is your point? Do you understand that 70mm < 3"

The 3" attaches to the down pipes from the turbo system and I think the cat back system will do the same. APS have ceased production on both products though I believe, so you may have to find one used if you want it.

I have... and it's been kind of painful. The community has been awfully patient with this one. Usually, when someone so blatantly disregards their personal onus to search, think, and make their own decisions on these things... it gets ugly.

As for the HFCs + Test Pipes combo....

I'm not quite sure you fully grasp the magnitude of what you're getting into. Performance cars are complex machines, and the road to modifying said complex machines past their standard configurations isn't as easy as Gran Turismo or Forza Motorsport make it out to be. It isn't all black and white, and there is far more gray area than any one thread asking advice could ever clear up for you.

That's why there are literally thousands of pages of valuable information that knowledgeable people have shared with the community in these forums. That's what makes these forums so great and so valuable - all of that information, and all of these answers that you're seeking... they're right at your fingertips. All you have to do is search for it like everyone else.

The end result of you searching, instead of asking tired questions or having the community practically build your car for you, will be a much more educated outlook on your 350Z. It's a great car, and you owe it to both yourself... and your vehicle... to know what the heck you're doing when you embark upon the long journey of modifying and tuning your vehicle.

The answer to your questions - what's right and wrong - isn't what you think. Start searching for the answers in this amazing resource of a forum, and you'll be able to join the ranks of knowledgeable 350Z enthusiasts. I've learned more than I ever thought I would by following the advice I just gave you. Put forth the effort and reap the rewards, man.

it seems obvious to me that you haven't really done much research on this matter at all. just by doing a simple search i found multiple pages of information. use google if you have to!
