Default 5/8" vs 5/16" Plenum Spacers?

I've been looking as much as possible and through searching I just keep finding either classifieds or people saying they have one or the other.

I'm trying to determine if the 5/8" actually provides any additional HP/TQ or is even worth it. I know you can't use the factory strut bar going this route, which doesn't really bother me as I'll order an aftermarket one anyway.

Is there an HP difference between the two? Is 5/8" overkill or have any negative consequences over the 5/16"? I've only read that most manufacturers produce the 5/16" due to fitment issues with the strut bar.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I believe they offer an Iso thermal, and a copper iso thermal, both are on their website. It'll be more specific there.
