For those of you who have always had questions on HOW the plenum works, most importantly WHY it works...

This should answer all your questions.

Enjoy!

Understanding the Crawford Plenum

Thanks to Kevin Young (kjy9) here on the boards for shooting this while he has been in town!

Hey Doug

Any chance you could save this as a PDF file or a MS Word file? I can't seem to read this thing. I'm on a Mac, and this is unreadable with any of my tools.

How's Baby II Coming?

I have a related question. Do you have to replace the strut tower brace if you install the plenum?

Doug sells a STB too and two crashes are proof it works, one here in CA.

P.S. Mine will be done next week!

My *2nd* one, what does that tell you. It works! My old one is still alive running N20 on the East Coast.

Can't wait to see the wmv video!

very informative....follow up question: does the raised plenum require a different front strut bar to accomodate the modifications or can the stock still be used?

yeah, you need his strut bar, but for everyone who doubted its design, as you can see from this pic, its the only thing not broken!

I got the audio fine, but no video. From what they were saying (since I have the plenum) I understood. I understood it before I got the plenum, which is why I have it. And yes, it works. No debates please.

Yeah, that just means you don't have the video codec being used for compression, but you do have the audio codec. A quick look at the video properties (from within Windows Media Player) showed me that the file is using the Windows Media Audio 9 codec and the Windows Media Video 9 codec. These codecs normally come built in to Windows Media Player 9, so I'm not sure how one could download the codecs seperately for installation into another player.
