not idling rough at all.. but form a cold start the car dies or the rpm's jump down and then goes back to normal idle might think to take out the spacer,,, but i think even if i do the car will still do the same

checked if there is a leak (don't think there is)
retightened bolts
did an ecu and a TB reset

any suggestions?

i left the old plenum gasket in there, but i made sure that there was no bends in it and should still be sealed properly.

HEEEELLLPPP

Take out the gasket, the motordyne spacer seals by itself.

+1.

I had a leak towards the rear passenger side of the gasket after initial install...

I have :

Momentum performance cai
SRS catback exhaust
5/16 plenum spacer
Berk test pipes with curved O2 extensions

I will start saving for a tune. Hopefully it won't lean out too badly...

Should be fine for a while, I have intake, spacer, modded lower plenum, and a cat-back. Been running like that for a while without any issues.

(I know it was 3 years ago) but great post...tip of the hat...

everyone throws on intakes/exhaust and dont see gains...

I wish an aftermarket would make a side-fed manifold (rather than the rear) where bank 1 doesnt take the majority of the intake/lean-out and cylinder 1 & 2 arent starved...hmmm...
