Default what exhaust do you have?

I'm thinking bout getting an exhaust. My first choice would be to get an s-tune nismo exhaust but those things are expensive. I thought about getting the replica hks exhaust (godspeed) but I have read they don't last long. So I was wondering what everyone has on theirs and what you guys think I should get. Money is kind of tight right now because I am getting married in the summer.

It's not your decision on how someone should spend their money.

Back to the OP, people here are constantly changing mods on their cars. May want to look at member classifieds and see if one is being sold near you. I have had the Stillen exhaust on my car for 8 years now, no issues, still looks and sounds good. Many times you get what you pay for. Their are many sound clips in the forums. Get the best one you can afford and enjoy

If you're on a BUDGET, the Godspeed, for the $$, isn't bad. Where did ya here they don't last? Also take a look at Topspeed here:

Otherwise save your $$ and get a higher quality. I got Invidia Gemini (Dual) for $790 shipped. I've got to say though, the Topspeed (and Godspeed) look pretty damn good.....

Topspeed makes a good exhaust system. It's the same one I have on my Z, if you want something quiet then I would advise against this one. The cat back system from them can be had for about $600.

Steps:
1) Wait till summer.
2) Take ALL wedding gifts to pawn shop.
3) Purchase nismo s-tune exhaust.

As stated by others, WAIT. If money is tight, the worst thing you can do is start modding. Once you start, it'll snowball into a constant quest to upgrade...

Be patient. Save your money. Good luck.

I wish members would tell us about their exhaust. And maybe post videos. We have to start doing that.

I felt a really big improvement in mid-to-upper range torque after I got my Whistle Tips installed.

I have the Megan Drift Spec true dual and it's a bit loud but achieved the sound I was looking for. I thought it would be too loud for my wife but she loves it and it's her daily driver. Stock the Z was too raspy for me I wanted a deeper sound. Most people say they have more power on the top end but I find the exact opposite. People rag on megan but I was and still am very happy with it. I was going to go with an axle back but ended up having to go with a cat back. I am not out to race, don't go to the track, don't drift, just an old guy that likes a fun driving car that sounds good and doesn't care what the masses do. My car is stock other than the exhaust.

First start here to get an idea of what's available for the Z.
https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...aders-etc.html

Then go to youtube and listen to clips. Find something you like and camp classified for a deal.
