hole in y-pipe. suggestions?

Default hole in y-pipe. suggestions?

the weld on one end of the support connector piece of the y-pipe broke off after about a year. i find that piece kinda pointless really. anyways,
should i jb weld or actually get it welded?

You want to weld the piece back on or close the hole and leave it?

well i was initially thinking just jb welding that piece on but question the durability opposed to welding...

Needs to be welded, JB weld will fail in less than 5 minutes in this case.
