Default Flowmaster muffler

If I get a Flowmaster muffler, can I use the oem muffler tip and pipe so that it can be connected to the center muffler (part no.5 in http://www.*********.com/wiki/index...._exhaust_1.jpg
)?

Are the oem tip and pipe welded to the oem muffler?
(cause I may want to get around any welding stuff)

I am looking for a easy and cheap way to boost up the exhaust sound.
(but not looking for test pipes)

Yes you can get the stock tips welded on. I have this setup on my car and I love it (got the muffler for free so that makes me love it more). Nice added sound depth, the muffler's way lighter than stock, the only problem is whoever does the work has to make sure that the passenger side pipe going to the exhaust tip isn't going to get too close to the metal box sitting right next to where the pipe would sit. When I first got it, the exhaust would move just enough to touch that box during acceleration and it would rattle and drive me nuts.

Buy an HKS knockoff exhaust. The exhaust can be had for between $300-400 new, shipped to your house. They are a direct bolt-on application (no welding).

I want to do this same thing except I want the super 44 flowmaster. Anyone think this is a bad idea for a good sound?

Probably the best sounding cheap exhaust option or just save up to buy a real deal exhaust.
