aight here's my situation, i just got the cai system installed, it's aem......And when i get to the higher rpm's on 2nd and 3rd, it sounds sooo much louder, than punching it on first..... Like it's a nice low tone noise but it sounds like the motors going crazy....i have a cai system on my 97 accord ex and it don't sound nothing like that.....Any of u Z's w/ aem cai system, notice that too??????It's just weird like hard to explain!

 

I thought the noise was crazy loud at first, but now i just sounds great and perfect for the Z... wait till ya hear them ati prochargers, scary loud...

 

Yeah, we get the same sound out of our AEM CAI. I loved it from the very first flooring of the stoopid pedal.
We have the 6AT and I love the sound it makes when the engine falls off to shift gears. I did notice, however, that the engine appears to rev up faster and will pass the redline on the tach easier than before. Even when letting the auto do it's own thing.
