I've got a question... why in the world are these (highflow cats in general) so damned expensive?? The carsound/magnaflow cats are $50 a pop at most... My xerd testpipes (stainless w/ hangers) were $90. What is involved to make them much more expensive?

They dont look nothing like the RT cats I had on . Maybe RT stopped sell the others because they were going bad all the time

here

It's not rocket science... carsound is made by magnaflow.. and magnaflow's main building is down here, I know one of the sales managers.

$55 on ebay for a high flow carsound cat. Essentially you could buy two of these ($110) and a set of xerds ($90) and have someone cut and weld these in for probably $50. $250 for a set of high flow cats identical to these...
