Default Which Plenum spacer is right for me?

I'm really looking at getting a plenum spacer for my Z along with a Injen CAI so what size spacer do you think would work best for me 5/16, 1/2, or 5/8? I really don't know what exactly has to be done after this mod so some feedback would be appriciated, thank you!

honestly a lot of factors play into it. your best bet is to use the search at the top because there are a lot of threads about them. good luck

also check out post 55 here

Motordyne, 5/16 and you can still run your strut bar.

With a 5/16" you can use your OEM strut bar.Washers will be needed to
shim the bar a bit.Anything over that size, you will need to change strut
bars.Spacers are really just pieces of metal...aluminum.They are priced
in different ranges but all give similar results.Suggest you check a spacer
from Z1 Motorsports.Great price and does the job.Any other mods after the intake?
Like exhaust, test pipes,HFC's?If so,I suggest a tune to get the most out of your mods.

Most people go with the 5/16" spacer. It lets you keep the strut bar in place and it gives the best overall gains on the dyno.

Use the regular Iso Thermal plenum spacer if you live in a generally warm environment.

Use the Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer if you often drive in a cold or snowy environment. Its all automatic. Install and forget.

Well as of right now I have a HKS True Dual exhaust but I figured sense I have exhaust I need intake. But now I'm seeing the Kenetix manifold is pretty popular but not sure what I should do, either buy the whole new manifold or get a spacer and modify the original plenum..

Whats your objective? It sure is less expensive to get a spacer than
to spring for a whole new manifold. If power gain is what you are looking for rather than to throw parts at your car,on the cost effective side,do the spacer.I'd add test pipes or HFC's and a tune.If you want some bling on your engine, get the plenum polished.

You know how should I go about this to get the most horsepower and performance as I can. Cats first or finish up intake?
