What was the new exhaust that you bought?
I'm prolly in the minority, buy not a fan of "burnt" tips unless they are
a part ofthe total exaust system, like an Amuse.
IMO its a "look at me" mod.In addition, these universal fit parts will
not hold up.When you are doing anything related to an exhaust system,
go quality. Its better to spend the bucks up front.

The exhaust tips do look good. Do what you like with your car with a purpose. I say that because everyone has different taste, personality and individuality. Thus, what you do to your car, tell people who you are. For me, my car is a street car and weekend track car. My exhaust setup is full titanium and single exist to save weight and gain maximum power. I careless for the titanium burnt tip because after track session the exhaust tip is completely cover with black smoke. The exhaust loudness does not bother me, because the VQ35HR sounds awesome at high rev. I stripped my trunk out, and relocated the battery to underneath of the passenger seat with lightweight battery. When I take my Z to local car meets, I careless of what people think and say, because I am happy to drive my Z when I sit in it. It feeds my purpose, not theirs. Anyway, that is just me. It is all performance when it is come to my car. For you, do what it purpose you, but make sure you are happy when you are sit in it and make right decision when it comes to modified your car. It will save you more money and you are much happier with the right mods.
Hmm...Not bad. I'm on the fence about these. I know aftermarket/universal parts usually aren't that great, but these don't look terrible. I'd have to see them on the car for before I say whether I like them or not. Generally, I like burnt tips if the car is done nice to match.
