NISMO Exhaust Alternative?
1. motordyne
2. Borla or Stillen, yes it's a tie
3. ARK
The top 3 I would buy. I own #1. Then, for a street car that I just want a little more sound/performance , the above followed by.
1. Tanabe hyper medallion touring
2. Nismo
3. Any other OEM style aftermarket system.

OP, I have an authentic Nismo S-Tune muffler coming up for sale in the next few weeks. Item is with my household goods delivery, so it's still not in my possession. The muffler was damaged from shipping so this one was never installed. The tips are bent and would have to be replaced. The actual muffler is also bent but not noticeable when installed. I'll send you confirmation pics if you're interested. A brand new Nismo S-Tune muffler alone is over $1K. By the way, I already tried to sell it here a few years ago. You can search for that thread if you want.
The Invidia Gemini Titanium catback or the Invidia N1 sounds almost like the nismo exhaust. But nothing beats the real thing, here take a gander and turn up the volume. I can't find a video with someone that didn't put test pipes on it though.

No one has provided the obvious answer - the Fujitsubo Legalis R is the same as the Nismo S-Tune, except for slightly different exhaust tips. It also never came with a Y-pipe. Every once in a while you'll see a vendor with new ones for $600-700, so maybe do some searching.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Bassani catback system. True dual exhaust, sounds very similar to the Nismo, maintains the factory look/appeal, and offers good power gains. It also eliminates that giant tank of a muffler poking down past the bumper(never liked that thing). The exhaust tips are slightly larger than stock/Nismo which isn't really a bad thing imo.
Other than the price I don't really see any major cons to it. You can find plenty of vids of it on youtube.

Haven't been on in awhile, but I have a ton of parts for sale. This is my ad for my Nismo exhaust I bought off the forum. I actually bought it and never installed it for 3 years, lol.
