Default HR exhaust manifolds on a DE

Are all HR exhaust manifolds the same? Are the 370z the same as HR 350z? Im having some fitment issues on my G35 with 370z exhaust manifolds. The passanger side hangs way lower than the drivers.

Yes. I tried kinetix hfc's and fast intention test pipes.

Can anyone clarify for me if there are any differences between HR exhaust manifolds? 350zHR, 370z, G37, 07 g35 Sedan are all the same? I'm thinking that if they're all the same, I bought a damaged header off a wrecked vehicle on ebay. I may try to pick up a passenger side header to replace it but I want to make sure I get one from the correct vehicle.

OP you may want to PM a member CLyons. He did this swap on his G35. I am doing this swap in the next 2 weeks on 350Z and will let you know if I encounter issues.

To answer the HR & VHR tubular exh manis I believe are exactly the same with exception of some additional heat shielding near the merged collector area. I think the OEM part numbers are the same as well.

Ends up that the passenger side exhaust manifold was not off a g/z. I think it was from an fx or moreno. Anyways, I picked up another set of HR manifolds from a member here and installed with no problems. the car sounds like it has some ***** now. there is a bit of rasp but it seems to decrease as the car warms up. Hopefully a xyz pipe with resonator (instead of the hr y-pipe) will take car of the rasp.

Just finished this swap. HR OEM headers fit perfect on the DE 350z. Primaries are 1 5/8" and collector exits are 2.25" approx, much larger than the DE mani exits of 1.652". You can use HR OEM gaskets, and there is plenty of clearance on both sides. Passenger coolant tube needed to be removed and drivers steering linkage in order to slip them into position. With Swain coating you can run them without heat shields and they cool to the touch in less than 10min. Low cost effective header upgrade for DE imo with no rasp that I can tell with TP's.
