Thumbs up DAMN this thing pulls like a banshee up top! ApexN1 and Fujisubo Y-Pipe!

Step three of five is complete ...

ApexN1 exhaust... and the Fujitsubo y-pipe!

Already on-board you'll find the plenum and Crawford cats, with adding this combination top end has stepped up MANY levels.

Still lacking that downlow torque...

Adam (VandyZ) and I shared a fourth gear pull - 80 - 110mph... by the top of fourth I was at his rear bumper. DAMN those headers add SO MUCH NEEDED torque! No worries, they are step five... and the flywheel is four!

I have dynos... oh wait sorry nevermind... they aren't independant. (kidding... no dynos yet, just put these on tonight)

Quality. Well know name. Price.

The ultimate racing, which I think it is... didn't care for the angled bends, etc... The JIC doesn't look THAT bad, but I was ready for something now. Maybe once it's been tried I'll consider it.

The fujitsubo has SUPERIOR quality... even Doug was impressed with it. With the nice smooth mandral bends, meeting into the mid pipe which opens into 3" inches before the muffler flow is SOLID. I'm serious... top end feels GREAT!

Everything fit PERFECTLY.

Only needed the blue-tipped wrench once while trying to get the old exhaust out.

I'm starting to really like the look of that Apexi system. Did you notice if the apexi is lighter than the stock system and does it come with silencers?

Yes, it's far lighter... the y-pipe and mid-pipe feel about that of stock. Though the muffler is what has lost several lbs.

Of course did I weigh it??

Too excited to get it in.

I love it... reminds me of many Supras I've ridden in.

A friend commented today, "it sounds like an old built 240z with a custom racing exhaust."

Nope... I love it.

You find any reason for the silencers yet?

Nah no silencers, however I have good practice throwing it into neutral when I see the Highway Patrol . Just can't praise the sound enough, really happy with it. Yeah I purchased mine from Steve also...he really is a great guy.

I'll give us a one up here...

With all the Harley's, NO exhaust domestics, etc... it lives us fairly open to run basically whatever exhaust we want.

I have NEVER heard of a cop saying anything around about it.

TOTALLY agree with you on Steve. After all the bad things I heard about hopupracing... I still gave them a shot. Personally I think the BAD THINGS that happened were do to personal issues. Steve was on top of his game, called me DAILY letting me know when items were shipping. He would leave voicemail AND email! I totally plan on using him again.
