Ways to quiet an Agency Power Ti
My first engine mod for my 2004 350z was a Agency power Ti exhaust, sounds great and even better at wot but is a bit too loud for my liking. Am looking for ways to quiet this exhaust down so I wont **** off
the neighbors!
Car has stock cats and y pipe
Current ideas:
-Motordyne xyz pipe with resonator
-get resonator welded to the agency power I pipe
the neighbors!

Hmmm....should be pretty quiet if it has stock headers/cat/ypipe...
I wouldn't mess with the agency pipe itself, you might want to ditch it later! I'd go with a xyz pipe with resonator.

I've posted this info before.Possibly a search on how to silence exhausts may
have given you this input...At any rate,I had a similar prob. Not as loud as what
you have as the AP system is super loud(did 'nt you know this?).I installed
resonators IN the tips. These are more like diverters. They are avail in different
diameters. You have to drill a hole in the bottom of the tips, install a screw to keep
e'm in.The good thing is that they are easy to remove. Also, they are quite inexpensive.
The resonators do not quiet the exhaust a whole lot.The tone is not changed much
except some of the lower bass notes are gone. Its got more of a Euro sound. What
they do is eliminate the WOT "overide" or rasp.I think they are made by Shoenfeld.
Pretty simple design.Remind me of tip inserts I once had in a Stebro exhaust on my
Lotus.

I see you bought some silencers.........I was gonna suggest killing your neighbors?
I'm on the opposite end, I have a Greddy Evo II that I cut the resonators out of to make louder(love it) but I want SOME obnoxiousness without ricey/rasp sound. I haven't gotten ballsy enough to purchase HFCs or ART pipes

And we had this conversation Len, there were d@m F18s that flew by and we couldn't hear them while you were on the track.
But you know the Z is my daily and you ALSO know you can't drive from vegas with your constant nuclear explosion coming out of the back

Every Dad needs a rocket car
Nope, It was like that at Big Willow. The Evo II is basically the OEM exhaust, but louder. MY exhaust is like the Evo II only louder.

Plus, I love the sound of my exhaust vs yours. Nothing personal, just personal preference. Imo, louder isn't better if you don't like the specific noise to begin with. I will eventually go with ART pipes or HFCs, but for now I'm totally happy with my "quiet exhaust"
OP if silencer dosn't help, change exhaust

Youtube "rxkid09" to watch 2 vids and hear what mine sounds like with the resonators cut out
If you want the Agency Power to be quiet you should just sell it and trade it in for another single exit. The AAM and HKS single exhausts are typically quite compared to it. I am running test pipes + custom y with one resonator and I love the noise.

Iowa doesn't allow the Z to blend in much. Especially the area I moved to. I don't think I need any more attention on my daily(especially since I recently got pulled over for going 67 in a 60((no ticket though luckily)).

I don't know why you don't just carefully drive out of the neighborhood. @ certain RPM's you can't hear it inside @ all, so I know it's not loud. I even have headers & have never had any complaints.
