Default Will R/T Cats pass the "Sniffer"

These things are so much smaller than stock. I'm not worried about the visual inspection, just curious if they pass the sniffer for smog tests. Anyone ever tested them?

Jeez i'd hate to live in the USofA 'cos you've got so many emission rules, CARB stuff, visual tests,50 state legal parts, etc etc.

Over here in England all your car has to do is to pass the fairly lax emission test (NO visuals)** and you can have virtually anything you want bolted to your motor, it doesn't have to be CARB or anything similarly approved.

**the emission test is carried out as part of an MOT test which mainly looks at safety related stuff and is carried out firstly after 3 years and then yearly after that

America prefers to act unilaterally in all matters. You should know that.

I don't think the RT cats will be a problem in Jersey, but you're right, they don't look like they are capable of much emissions control.
