Default Are my Stillen headers for hr or de and are they defective?

Hey guys, I ordered a set of new Stillen headers off ebay and cannot tell if they are hr or de. The listing was for 07-08, but the item number and installation instructions are for the 03-06. Attached is a pick of the flange and there is no item number I can find on the headers themselves.

I emailed the seller, just too impatient for a response. After looking at the berk flanges on conceptzperformance.com I think they are for the hr. Is there any other way to tell beside the flanges? I am scheduled to have them installed Monday at the dealership. Also, I heard you can reuse the gaskets if they are in good shape; is that true or do I need to overnight new ones?

Nope. I'll have them look at it when I'm at the dealership.I have z1 rear hatch struts and some other stuff to get installed if it's not the right set, so it won't be a complete waste of time.

Since you are in the same state as me and if it's a DE, you could sell it to me!!

Lol. If it's a de I will consider, but I am 99% sure it is an hr now. One if the bolts is a little further away from the center which I think is the looking off the gaskets. You can buy my hr headers tho for 100 when they are off though.

Should I send these headers back? It looks like there is a defect at the flange. Do you think this will cause me installation issues or loss in performance?

Yea I find out yesterday that they were the wrong ones after checking out the headers on CZP. The two links below show the difference between the two headers:
http://www.czp.us/Cart/description.p...0173.23.191.54
http://www.czp.us/Cart/description.p...0173.23.191.54

Thanks for the verification though and the defect I am referring to is that the gasket is not flush with the flange. It is at an angle, whereas the other one is perfectly aligned. I do not trust the integrity of the unit and do not plan on trading these out for another set of Stillen headers for the correct year.

I do not know if there is any other brand of headers for the hr that do not include the ppe, but if not I will be skipping them altogether.

I only ordered them off Ebay because they were 100 dollars cheaper and they were from westcovinanissan. The feedback was 99.7 w/ 31,531 sales, so hopefully they will resolve the problem quickly. I do not want any knock off brands on my car, so long tubes are out of the question unless they are ppe and the dealership will install them. Had too many knock-offs on my celica and do not want to deal w/ shoddy engineering.

I am going to talk to the service adviser who races stock cars and works for my dad, and hopefully he will agree to installing HFC's at the dealerhsip so that I can get the Nismo R-tune headers w/ HFC's. Didn't realize the HR engine had no aftermarket support!

No worries man. I know the rep Ebay has, but sometimes I can find some great deals for quality parts. And I would rather not pay more when I can get it for less lol. Except I regret it when I have issues like this come up...

HR headers on the way from Stillen! The Nismo Shop took care of the issue and I will be getting these installed late this week or early next week. Will update pictures to show the difference between HR and DE if anyone runs into this problem later on down the road. And will be sure to let you guys know if the headers were worth the time and money.

Got my headers today and I already see an issue. I have attached a picture of both headers. One has ideal merge collectors and the other one is well hideous. Do you think I should return?
