Default need advice on extending exhaust tips

Hi all,

Because of a body kit that I put on my 04 roadster, I need to have the exhaust tips extended rearward about 4 inches or so.

Maybe the cost of new tips might be high enough to where, for a hundred dollars more or whatever, I might as well get a new exhaust system. Looking under the rear bumper, it doesn't look like it would be easy just add some exhaust pipe, so I thought I would ask you guys who have been in a similar situation.

I guess I wouldn't mind having a more aggressive sounding exhaust, but I am trying to find out the $ vs. benefit options.

Thanks for the input.

any exhaust shop should be able to cut the ends off and extend them... wouldnt think it would be too much

Thread moved to the corret subforum...

Your exhaust options are going to be limited due to the aggressiveness of this rear bumper

I personally would not bother extending the OEM exhaust but would suggest looking into a NISMO exhaust which wohave larger/slightly longer tips than the OEM that you currently have
