Default Temporarily richen A/F ratio

Unusual question. I won't be getting my car tuned for two weeks. It is running extremely lean. Primary o2 sensors around .2v, and I'm hearing what sounds like some major detonation.

Currently the Z is my daily, so to be on the safe side I need to richen the A/F. I was thinking about putting a few layers of nylon leggings over the stock airbox inlet, would this suffice until I get it tuned?

I have the usual bolt ons, mrev2/z1 spacer, test pipes, nismo exhaust.

Get Tuned ASAP or go back to stock until you get tuned, if you have knock.

I thought a lot of people go untuned for long periods.

If by go untuned for a long time you mean that people drive untuned and try a retarded idea of putting nylons over the MAF and blow their engine then it sits for a long time till they can afford to fix it then yes. people go untuned for a long time.

Just stay off the throttle and you'll be fine. It wouldn't hurt to throw in a new set of spark plugs as well

I have the stock Revup airbox. I meant putting nylon over the airbox inlet on the radiator support. I don't think it would be physically possible to blow an engine by doing this.

What are you talking about bro. When did you hear me say that. All I said was that some people go untuned for awhile with bolt ons.
