Default Cons running MD ART pipes on a stock exhaust

I have a new 350z (HR engine) project and I wanted my first mod to be some Motordyne ART pipes but I wanted to run them on the cars stock exhaust along with some old parts from my old 350z project (GT Mafs, 600cc injectors, intake).

I'm getting the ART pipes for a good price but I wanted to know what are the cons running them on a stock exhaust? I'll tune the car with everything else after the install. Also will my HP gains be great?

I ran art pipes on stock exhaust for about a year and had no problems.I didn't really feel the gains until I got a tune .

Some HRs run very lean when you remove the cats. Mine did. I would recommend a tune if your putting in the art pipes.

Same for me. Wasnt ready for tune so took em off. My car ran like ****. Bucking off the line and sputtering when cruising. Get a tune as for exhaust it should not matter.

Not ARTs but Ive run resonated test pipes on stock exhaust on a DE for a time, tune probably wasnt ideal but the car still pulled hard. And sounded great.

I have a de with a stock exhaust. I've been offered some art pipes for a good price.

Will my car run and sound awful without a tune?

I've read mixed opinions on test pipes and the standard exhaust. YouTube videos don't really help. Most are recorded on phones.

Thought it would be better to resurrect this thread than start a new one.

Thanks
