Exhaust choice...
Hey guys, I was needing some help deciding between exhausts. I currently have test pipes so I was wondering what would be the loudest exhaust, but keep the vq sound. Currently deciding between the Invidia Gemini and the Megan Racing single. I want it to be loud but sound clean and retain the VQ note.
thanks ahead of time guys.

Interesting.
Personally, since I trust Nissan, I've gone with S-Tune on both Z33s (included in the sale of my Z33N and new owner installed) and Z34 S-Tune on my 370ZN.
No real power gains from any of 'em but they sound better and totally retain the VQ sound on all three engine iterations.
If you are going to tune and track it (mid-to-high rpm range), would suggest either a large diameter 3" single or a dual system like the aforementioned TDX2 or Gemini - there will be power gains in that engine range.

I can't justify spending 1700$ on some metal piping, at that point you're paying for the brand. I could understand if it was pure titanium all around but no, not for stainless, it could sound like gods most beautiful fart but I still wouldn't pay almost two grand for that. I wish they still made the Original shockwave single tip looking thing that was loud as ****.

told ya, and no.... you are paying for research and development . tony at MD knows his shiite. from what i understand he is/was some kind of aerospace engineer. if you went with the full MD setup, you would be spending closer to $2300. you gotta pay to play, and you get what you pay for.

ever think about doing a custom exhaust? I used a universal single Greddy muffler and it sounds amazing. I have 3 inch piping from the Y pipe back. also have test pipes.
I'll try to get a video up in the morning when I get home from work.
