I mistakenly went the cheaper route on my test pipes and got a set of the V2 Megan resonated test pipes. I figured people had decent results with the 2nd version with flex pipes. Two sets later under warranty, I'm still having issues with the driver side resonator's internal baffling coming loose and rattling like an SOB. This time around they sent me what they called their "revised" set. They have the resonators like the previous version, but there is no internal baffling or packing, just empty resonators.
"Please note that this was not a mistake. The pipes that were sent to you are the resonated Test Pipes, however they are a revised version. Because of the rattling that some customers experienced we revised the resonator to a larger body and took out the elements that would create the rattling. On our test vehicle they produced the same sound and no drone."
This sounds like BS to me. They essentially hollowed out the resonators and called it fixed. What do you all think?
