I have an hks knockoff thats starting to sound like crap after a year. I was considering ordering 2 greddy revolution rs mufflers and have them welded onto existing pipe and resonators. The pipe is true dual and in fantastic shape.

Anyone done anything similar? Are the cheap resonators possibly as much the issue as the mufflers themselves for the rasp?

Will those greddy mufflers be too much dualed out? I believe the greddy setup is designed for a large single but I'd be ordering the 2.5" inlet mufflers, not the 3" like the single setup.
