Default Opinions on running Motordyne straight pipe vs resonator

I was looking for opinions from anyone who has run the Motordyne XYZ with the resonator, and then swapped out for the MD straight pipe, or vice versa. I'm running the XYZ with resonator, but the exhaust lacks an "x" factor that's hard to describe, and I feel like maybe swapping for the straight pipe might make me happier with the exhaust. I'd like the exhaust to sound slightly "warmer" or racier sounding.

My DE has JWT C8 cams, Tomei Expreme headers, Motordyne ART pipes, resonated XYZ, and Z1 single exit exhaust - wrapped to eliminate excessive drone. My thinking is I'd change the tone, but increase rasp as well, which I'd be fine with.
