SO here is the thing, i am getting an HR hopefully soon and ive been pretty much inlove with the megan racing drift spec but people say its really loud... police here are VERY strict and even worse to deal with... i actually like the exhaust cuz of the sound AND the look, i dislike the burnt tip, so my question is would the silencer really lower the sound? and i mean with test pipes as well... by the way i am completely new to a forum and i've searched but didnt find the answer

 

There are much better exhausts out there than megan, and most offer stainless tips as well. What is your budget?

 

i don't have an exact budget yet but something not too expensive and definitely a single exit... so the drift spec is the one I like most just wanted to know if the silencer really does lower the sound I mean when accelerating noramally at a stop light or cruising speeds ect

 

Could get an ISR Performance GT single, pretty much same style but has a larger resonator in the mid pipe so it should be a good bit quieter.

I've got one on my DE and it sounds great especially for the price IMO.
