Default New exhaust for supercharged 2003 350z

Hi all, it's been awhile. Original owner of a 350z which over 10 years ago popped in a vortech supercharger and Berk HFCs. Over all these years, still strong. But, finally, the exhaust joint between original muffler and mid pipe rusted out. What to do? I could just replace muffler and mid pipe, but felt that if i'm going through the effort, might as well change the whole cat back. I am thinking of going for a Gemini based on this site and not looking for anything loud. So my question is: Does anyone think it's a bad idea to change the exhaust to a Gemini on a 2003 vortech supercharged and Berk HFC 350z?
appreciate and advice.
thanks.

I am planning a V3 install, decided on Fast Intentions 2.5 TD. My tuner said I need to lose my Berk HiFlows so I went with Z1 test pipes. Lower boost, more HP. Waiting for the exhaust to be made, you should be fine with the Gemini. You'll like it!

Thanks for the advice jhc. Sounds like with the Gemini, should be ok with the Berks?

A friend from Ohio ran that setup on a NA de and I loved it. It keeps the VQ signature sound while letting you know the motor is running. Pretty sure you'll ask yourself why you didn't do it sooner, it's just perfect for the Z33.

Follow up with your thoughts after install.

I dont think the exhaust is going to make such a huge difference in performance(in this situation). You might pick-up a few extra HPs but get something that you like the look/sound/feel of and has a good reputation.

thanks bealljk, honestly, not expecting any gains anyway as I'm not planning on dynoing. Just need a replacement for the midpipe and muffler and felt that instead of just changing out those parts alone, might as well just put a new cat back. I've been out of the game for awhile but if anyone knows a good tuner in the greater DC area, might be worth tuning, but otherwise very happy, with a great car with just a few mods and outside of window issues and camshaft/coil issues has served me well. +16 years now. Thanks again.
