Default Do Headers eliminate Cats

I'm looking into a set of headers(borla, xerd) and the high flow cats from kinetix. Wondered if I still need the cats with the new headers.
Thanks,
Matt

Only headers that eliminate the cats are the XERDs because of their length.

Nismo, Crawford, DC Sports, Stillen-they keep your cats, you can replace these with test-pipes or high flow cats. The only headers that I know of that replace your cats are the XERD long tubes....

That is how it works out for the Z since the only long tubes available for the Z eliminate the cats. What I am saying is, not all long tubes on all cars eliminate cats.

What primary length is a good cutoff to determine the difference between long tube and short tube?
