Nismo headers issue
Comments from experienced users are requested to help resolve an issue with Nismo headers.
I have been told that Nismo headers have been very difficult to install because the collector plate can rub on the steering column and it usually requires extra modifications to make them fit.
If this is true, then unsuspecting newbies like myself should be aware of the risk and expense they might be undertaking in buying these headers. If it is not true, then the issue is resolved.

After 3 months and going through four sets of headers, i finally received a good set and they are absolutley perfect. I went through absolute hell, however, waiting for them to come in. There was a horrible mess with the drivers side header rubbing against the steering column shaft and i had that same problem with three headers in a row!! The fourth set i finally got were perfect, a huge gap between the header and the steering column shaft. No problems whatsoever. Nissan also reimbursed me for every penny i demanded. So after all that mess and a 3 page letter to Nissan explaining my experience, they took care of me and i am pleased.
