Pop Charger vs. K&N air filter
I would do a search, but that appears to be busted. Is a JWT pop charger going to give you more performance gain than a K&N air filter?
Also, I am kind of skeptical about how a grounding kit is really going to help anything in the car. I'm supposed to believe that there are just these floating ground planes on the engine block? Anyone got any real data on this?
Thanks,
JasZ

There is a dyno here on a different thread of someone who switched inbetween a K&N and a POP Charger.
The dyno claimed the POP Charger had a 2hp advantage over the K&N.
Some people claim the POP Charger sounds better because it has it's own little noise or whatever.
The K&N costs less than half as much as the POP Charger, and does not look weird.
Basicly if you install the K&N only you will know even if someone looks in the bay. Sort of a sleeper compared to the POP Charger, but the POP Charger sounds more aggressive and gives you a very very miniscule hp boost.
A difference of 2hp on a dyno might as well have been no difference at all from the way dyno's vary.
Bottomline I have the K&N in my car because it is cheaper. I can feel a very slight difference in accelleration. Mostly when getting down on it.
It's all personal prefference if you ask me.

Honestly, if you are looking for HP gains, get a TT. I have a K&N, it does nothing for performance. I have heard the pop charger gives you 6RWHP. But lets see, thats only a 2% gain, probably not noticeable either. There is no way you are going to get noticable gains from some $50/$100 bolt on air filter.
Final thoughts, get the K&N anyway, you never have to buy a replacement. So saves you money in the long run.
Get a POP Charger, they sound cool.
Have fun!

Another popcharger vs. K@N thread but here it goes. I say go popcharger. Only $50 moreand I feel its worth it just for the noise factor.
As for the grounding kit more people are saying that it did nothing for them than the ones that say it made a difference in the cars.

pop charger will give you a definate increase in power... and yes the sound difference is there...
the idea of an intake is getting more air into the motor, especially at WOT... and you definatly can bring in alot more air with the JWT Pop charger then you can with the K&N Drop in...
