Default NFC Motorsports Y-pipe

Does anyone have this Y-pipe? How is it? Felt any gains from this? I'm wanting to replace my stock Y-pipe since the general consensus is that the stock Y-pipe is the most restrictive part of th exhaust sytem. After looking at a stock Y-pipe without the heat shields I would have to agree. I want to go with a Y-pipe that has the stock diameter of 65mm and the only one availabe that I know of is the NFC Motorsports Y-pipe. The product looks decent and is mandrel bent. The price is fair enough at $285. The only concern I have would be there are no flex sections but GSedan35 said his custome Y-pipe has no flex sections and it is fine. So if anyone has this Y-pipe or the whole exhaust system please post up with any review, comments, etc. TIA.

I installed this on Lemans350z's car, along with rt cats and he liked the difference it made. Most aftermarket exhaust dont have flex pipes.

I give a thumbs up to NFC. I got my RT cats from Kevin a while back. Very knowledgable and professional.

Sounds good. Yeah, the one time I emailed them about specific info on the Y-pipe they replied back promptly and completlely. I'll probably be ordering that Y-pipe from them pretty soon.

G-spot: Did the Y-pipe add more volume to your exhaust? I would assume it would add little deeper sound but not much noise.

anyone know how their intermediate pipes are?? i may be thinking of getting the y and intermediate pipe, but am concerned with the noise output.
i currently have the r/t cats and am gonna keep the oem exhaust, if i add the y and intermediate pipe... will the sound be similar???

It added a little deeper sound, but it was hard to tell because I added a CAI at the sametime. NFC offers 3 different intermediate pipes, Kevin recommended the 4" sound chamber one to me. He tried to e-mail a sound clip to me but told me that the file was to large to send to my hotmail account.
