Default Anybody Heard or Have Stock exhaust with aftermarket Headers

Does anybody know how this would sound and perform. I really wouldn't want to make the exhaust any louder than the stock exhaust but I would really like to have some extra power. I am really thinking of getting the Borla Headers but is it worth installing them with the stock exhaust or not.

Talk to VandyZ...

He ran the Crawford Headers and Cats for a long time with the stock exhaust...

Sounded VERY sweet.

are you going w/o cats since you live in Florida? I went with Xerds since they were a long tube and I didnt want cats and also kept the stock exhaust. Took a couple of days to get used to it (the sound) but it sounds pretty mean when you jump on the throttle.I will be changing the stock exhaust in the very near future(gonna FI) for better flow, but IMO the stock exhaust sounds pretty good.

I have dc headers, japtrix y and mid-pipe, and popcharger with the stock muffler, and it sounds just a little bit louder while driving normal at about 2-3k rmp, but after that its loud, but still with the beautiful stock muffler sound roar.
