Default HKS Dual TI exhaust ...stillen design?

From seeing pics of the new HKS TI dual exhaust. Looks like a polished verison of Stillens system, I noticed they both use the straight through mufflers mounted transversely, I think the sharp bends into the muffler are designed to increase some type of back pressure into the system. Havent seen pic to weather the HKS used a balance pipe. But I think the reason that the stillen is such a great system is the X PIPE the only system is seen on the market with a X pipe(torque). But I cant see paying that kinda money. So im opting for the Borla True dual, although I dont know if it can truely be called a dual since 2 pipes share 1 muffler. Fluidz and 12sec Z run theirs on their supercharger and bothe run great numbers to the wheels. Also I was going to fab a system with 2.5 inch coming off the cats x pipe no resonators into a 80series flowmaster. Do you think the SC needs back pressure ulike turbos where you can pretty much put the largest pipes you can fit under your car? thansk- Big Ern

SC doesnt need back pressure I dont think. and if it does, it can get its backpressure at a higher level of flow from more volume of exhaust.

the HKS is titanium though, thats the price over stillen and the others. lightweight.

the HKS Stainless exhaust that is coming out soon (and Jeff and I both want this) is a beautiful system... true dual... has a cross pipe (like the H-Pipe in the borla...) but it is 3 solid pieces with strong flanges... no connector set pieces!!! and it has these cool resonator thingies that are suposed to get rid of the drone!

naturally as soon as this comes out, we will get it on a car andget a full review...

I know performance nissan has a good reputation but as for all other Z parts people might have some doubts about the reviews. So perhaps you guys would like to donate one of these exhausts for an independent review?

Rajiv (really really really wants the new HKS exhaust but doesn't have 2 grand to blow on an exhaust)
