Hey guys, how much was the install on the Nismo Headers? What is your guess on how much it will be through the dealership? Thanks for any input!

why do people buy JIC y-pipe when they already have the nismo exhaust?

does the nismo exhaust not include the y-pipe? or does the nismo ypipe suck?

But for sound it is all opinion. Do you want something loud or quiet? IMO the Nismo exhaust alone is to quiet ( but still sounds awesome, and is a notch louder then stock ) but with HF cats it's AWESOME. I had HF cats on there with my Nismo exhaust and had to take them off for certain reasons. I can NOT stand howquiet it is without the cats anymore! I am getting HF cats again when I get the chance.

how does it sound wiht high flows, explain awesome
and why did you have to remove them??? looking at getting crawford cats with the nismo exhaust. and i value your opinion having run that system before.

thanks
matt

I don't know how to explaine awesome, it just is!

I never had to take the Crawfords off. I had to take the Kinetixs cats off because they broke and just sucked.. I switched them with Crawford and I wish that is what I wish I went with in the first place.

Sorry for asking a NEWBIE question: but what is a popcharger?? My friend has a VW GTI and he installed an AEM cold air intake. It makes the same sound as described in this thread. Sucking sound and when he shifts it sounds like a blow-off valve. From the picture, the JWT Popcharger looks like an aftermarket intake filter like an AEM cold air intake. Can someone please explain the differences between both and/or do I need both??
