Default ECU Problems with crawford cats

Hey,
went to my nissan dealer today and they told me that if i put hi-flow cats on there is a strong possibility that it will completely screw up the engine management system and as a result this and any other problems caused by this will NOT be covered by the warranty?

Before i put the cats on just wondering if hi-flow cats have caused ny problems to anyones engine at all?

Do you think i will be running lean with crawford cats, cat-back exhaut and jwt popcharger

Thanks alot
Matt

Its a bunch of BS. Your car will run leaner than stock, but nothing to worry about. Have had my crawford cats on my car for 20K miles w/ no problems.

Default ecu issue???

Last summer I had a y-pipe with high flow cats, stock exhaust. The only problem I had was cleaner muffler tips. I ended up selling the y-pipe due to lack of funds, but you could instantly tell the car was choked wih the stock y and cats (and my black tips came back) I now have a set of kinetix cats waiting to be bolted up. I think if ecu problems where going to happen it would be with test pipes but nobody's had any issue that I am aware of.

Like Alex said it's BS. No problems or issues here.

Don't know if you were referring to me or not?

I have Crawford Cats & Plenum, Nismo Headers, Injen Exhaust, UR pulley, and presently stock intake (took out popcharger). I have a UEGO wideband Air fuel gauge installed into one of my craford cats. With all these mods, my car was running slightly lean, but not enough to worry about. I now have an SAFC II air/fuel computer hooked up and my running 12.5 to 12.9 A/F ratios under wot.

thanks sounds like more BS from nissan, as per usual.
In running a plenum, cats, popcharger and cat-back exhaust do you think it will be neccesary to get a air fuel gauge installed?
Thanks again

but have the cats, cat back exhaust and Drop in K&N filter.

Do i also need to get the air fuel gauge such as SAFCII?

Not if you are running N/A. I have an A/F gauge because I am running N20 in my car.
