yah like for example i know with older eclipse likes gsts and gsxs it was ideal to have 3in exhaust from the turbo back....honestly i think any exhaust for the z....y pipe back or true duals in 2.5 would be plenty big for a z but if i did turbo and had a y pipe back i would get a aftermarket y pipe and test pipes after the FI for better flow....just my .02
I am also wondering what the advantages/disadvantages might be with a True-Dual system vs. a regular Y-pipe exhaust? There must be some differences, it's just a question of if those differences are beneficial to FI or not.
Anyone with a bit more knowledge on FI have some input?
Damn I would've liked to have heard this. A friend of mine put an Injen on her Z recently and she said she would have sound clips. I'll talk to her and see if I can get them up on here.
installed my exhaust 2 weeks ago and now my right foot gets stuck on the gas pedal most of the time. wonder how it sounds like with headers and hi flow cats cause mine have stock headers and cats... but i still love the way it sound.
A few ppl mentioned that the vid doesn't really capture how loud this exhaust is (in person).... did you push the car to the higher rpm range in the vid? thanks
