AEM cold air intake
So i'm ready for my first mod.
Went down to my performance shop and told them i want to take "Baby steps" and go slow.
They said the first mod should be a "AEM cold air intake".
I really have no clue about this stuff, so would love some thoughts or opinions.
Is this the right way to go?
What would you get? AEM or something else? Would you even get a cold air intake? Any insight would be GREAT.
Will it make the 350 sound good? Not like a suped up Civic?
Thanks so much guys.

the ColdAirIntake are most ppl's first mod!
they look good and sound nice
there are many different CAI u can have other then AEM
the AEM cost around $200
the nismo cost around$270
the K&N ,....etc..
do a seach in yahoo for CAI 350Z u will find alot
they do come in differet colour and shape
so is really up to ur own
on the preformance side i think they are all the same!
the cheapest way is to just add a K&N drop in! $40

Stay away from the AEM and go with a JWT popcharger. Gives the same sound as AEM, doesnt sit low to the ground which could suck up water, has better proven gains, and costs 1/2 of what AEM does. I had an AEM and sold it and got popcharger. Most everyone on this site will say the same thing.
I really liked my AEM CAI. It made the car sound awesome at about 4K RPM's. If "felt" a bit faster but this may have only been psychological. I did the install myself with no problems. I didn't have to take off the wheel, the bumper or the strut bar.
