Their plenum is their only fault. All of their other products have pretty good feedback. I'm running their test-pipes.

Kinetix only problem is not just the plenum. Their High Flow cats, also have had many complaints on fitment problems reported here.

Sorry I don't have pics but I know I have seen them on this forum somewhere.

You made the best choice on headers and really the only choice for a plenum. Mine is polished and it looks amazing. The black is nice too...It just depends on the person.

I had the RT cats initially and had rubbing problems and they died on me after 6 months. The Crawford cats fit and sound great.

rogerudc, the Crawford headers are listed for $1195 on their website.

Given the price of the DC headers, Can you explain to me how/why its worth it to pay over twice as much for the Crawford headers? Are the gains that much more? I want to understand everyone's rationale here so I can try to make the best decision. Thanks

the difference between the crawford and dc is in the build quality. the crawfords are a work of art compared to the dcs. just look at the pretzel shape they made to accomplish equal length headers. the gains on crawfords all mostly low and mid range. where as one like the dc will be almost exclusively up top. i know of no independent dynoes of the dc headers but i doubt they will get any more than the nismo or stillen headers.

I have also heard/read that the DC gains are purely high end. Know of any threads or websites that rank each of these respective headers you mentioned?

Thanks PoWeRtRiP!

here is a pic of the dc sports headers....both crawford and dc have dramatic bends but they are quite different....the dc's appear to be of decent quality....and a 1/3 of the price in my case

Thanks PoWeRtRiP!
The most recent Turbo mag dyno tested the DC headers. The biggest gains were around 3800 rpm.

The article is in the Sept 04 issue. They installed the DC stainless headers on a track 350 with 4000 mi. The car already had an AEM CAI, Invidia exhaust, Grounding kit, and UR pulleys.

Before headers: Peak hp 244.7, peak tq 233.3
After headers: Peak hp 248.8, peak tq 239.2

But at 3800 rpm, the gains were 9.1 hp and 12.5 tq.

It doesn't say how many dyno runs were made before and after, nor does it say if they were averaged or which runs were compared. That is the only caveat to the article that I can see.
