OK, it's 11:20 pm and I finally have everything tightened down, the passenger side coolant line back on (what a pain in the azz) and the CAI almost completely assembled. This after a 5-hour day yesterday. Total about 10 hours so far by myself with help from the wife tightening the two cat bolts. Overall, not a hard project. Just tedious as hell and my hands feel like they have been through a meat grinder. Oh! My back hurts like hell too.
Headers were DC Sports sytainless. Look great. Also installed Crawford high flows, excellent quality. Everything fit perfectly and nothing in a bind.
I have to replace the A/C belt and fill up the coolant. Then....START. We'll see what she sounds like. BTW, she is a G35 sedan.
Tools needed are not to fancy either. Ratcheting box wrencges, swivel, assortment of extensions including 24", offset box end wrench, and other common tools. No need for air tools as they can't be used too often since no space for them.
